Gallery `Chitrak`
Contemporary Gallery “Chitrak” was opened in December 2000 in Dhanmondi with the joint collaboration of Artist Moniruzzaman, Ahmed Nazir, and Zahir Uddin. With the efforts and contributions of new and old artists, more than a 100 exhibitions have already been hosted in this gallery. In addition, a majority of these exhibitions have been hosted for providing humanitarian services to struggling artists.
Drik Gallery
Drik Gallery is also situated in Dhanmandi. with Dr. Shahidul Alam being the founder. 4 to 5 exhibitions are hosted in this gallery each month. Besides, the foundation arranges one of the most esteemed photo festivals in Asia every couple of years.
Alliance Francoise
Alliances Francoise is a depended on by artists for quite a long time. With the initiative of Foreign Embassy of France in Dhaka, it was opened in Dhanmondi and has become well established as a premier art gallery in Bangladesh. It is a must visit for tourists.
